really cool images! i think the cropping in the first image is really nice-it definitley draws your attention to the model. i think any image that is cropped to focus more on the model would work best in this series since it's about fashion. great colors and lighting! and even better that you made the clothes!!!! :)
The cropping on the first one is great! For the second-to-last one, I would crop it so the model's shoulder goes off the frame, and crop a little from the top. For the one of her in front of the doors, I would crop the bottom so her feet are touching the bottom of the picture, and crop the right side so she isn't centered. Other than that, I think they're great!
I think all of these work really nicely- maybe the one that is from "above" isn't as strong for a fashion photo...the other ones have awesome lighting...love the setting with the type of clothing as well!
As far as cropping goes I think the only one that needs it is the Seconded form the bottom. There is just too much above the head. I like the looks of two and three very dramatic and interesting
I love the different angles you photographed from! when it comes to copy, maybe just making yourself a simple name logo to place in the corner or on the edge would be nice? I would heighten the contrast a bit more. I love your clothes!
the color and apparel designs are great. i just wish that the figure was a tad sharper in some. is that because you didn't have a tripod?? maybe lighten the second just a tad. great use of camera angle. the one by the orange door might be a candidate for a reshoot because the color is great but the angle and crop might be better if you had straighter lines in the door?
The first image is definitely my favorite. The angle is really interesting. I also like the second a lot. The editing is nice on that one too. As a fashion photo I really like the 4th one, but I would like to see it in a different setting.
As far as cropping you could focus on the model and what she is wearing. The first two really catch my eye. I think the one by the door would be stronger if her stance was less awkward. She looks more comfortable standing in the last one. Pretty pictures and clothes as well! Nice job =)

ReplyDeletelove the vignette style of the second photo. The second to last photo: maybe crop it so that it becomes landscape?

ReplyDeleteI really like your concept and composition, I feel that all of them have a interesting perspective/angle.
